Best. Chocolate chip. Cookes. Ever. Recipe.

I have tried MANY recipes...MANY, and this is by far the best.  Truly.  Enjoy.

1 cup butter flavour Crisco (yup, it's true and it DOES make a difference)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs

Cream together until light and creamy.
Add 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix well.

Add 2 cups of flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp salt.  Mix well, but don't over mix.

Add 2 cups (or as much as you want, I use the whole package) of chocolate chips/chunks.  You can use semi-sweet, milk, peanut butter, butterscotch...whichever flavour you prefer.  You could also add 1/2 cup of nuts (pecans/walnuts etc.) should you so desire.

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.  Cool on pan for a couple of minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
