It was a Wednesday when I finally got the call I had been waiting weeks for. I was chained to my desk, waiting for the day to end and the phone rang....one ringy dingy, two ringy dingy....Hello? It was Connie. She said excitedly, T, it's here, it's here. OMG, I flipped off the chains and sprinted up the stairs to our reception on the 5th floor. And there it was, standing silently by the filing cabinet being ogled by me and three others. You could see our jaws had dropped and drool was escaping from the sides of our mouths. Andrea asked if she could help me and I quickly said no, just back away from it.
I entered the cage and caressed her sides. I could feel the energy just waiting to escape.I gently lifted her and took her back down to the 4th floor and counted the minutes until I could bring her home. My babe John picked me up. I lifted the tailgate and put her in making sure she was snug as a bug in a rug! I hopped in the front and said to John, she is finally here. He said.......who? Clearly he was missing what she meant to me. I brought her home and sadly had to leave her alone until Saturday night.
After I finished slaving making dinner and doing the dishes, I saw her. Standing alone, lost and lonely against the dining room table. I walked over to her and gently touched her. I lifted one corner and then another and opened the lid. A blinding light emitted from deep inside the box. The aura surrounding her was unreal. I lifted her out, one piece at a time and put her all together. My heart began to beat faster and faster. She glistened like no other I had ever seen. I started her up, it was like hearing a kitten purrr for the first time. Purrrrrr, Purrrrrr, she moved effortlessly like she was walking on water. She moved and cornered just like I thought she would. Nothing stood a chance with her on the move. She was relentless in her duty. I had her everywhere, nothing got in her way, nothing. And then, it was over and she had done something I thought could never be done. It was astounding what she had accomplished. She had done everything he said she could do and more. When I turned her off and cleaned her, the purring continued. She is a beautiful purple and gray colour, something most unique and I fell in love with her.
She is, in a word, breathtaking. I can hardly wait to start her again.
She is, my Dyson Animal Ball Vacuum Cleaner and I love her!!
